Geraldine Cottage

is a 1839 Georgian workers cottage. Set in a beautiful cottage garden it is a far cry from its early history in which 11 children were raised. In the late 1800’s it was known as the Heaven and Hell School in which Roman Catholic children were taught in one room and Protestant children taught in another room. Today the cottage is beautifully restored maintaining its yesterday character but all the facilities for today’s traveller.

There are two separate bedrooms, lounge room with wood heater and a separate sitting room which has a sofa bed for family occupancy. A large sunny dining room is off the fully equipped kitchen including microwave oven and dishwasher. Outside is a paved entertainment area ideal for relaxing taking in the afternoons setting sun and a large safe backyard for the children to play.

Located in a quiet side street off the main Richmond-Sorell link road and just 300 metres from the famous convict built Richmond bridge and Australia’s oldest Roman Catholic Church it is in easy walking distance of the centre of the village.welcome.
